Jacqui - Prescott, AZ 1/3/21 still available 3/13/21

Meet Jacqui!  She is a 1 yr old, 28 lb, female spayed Australian Shepherd or heeler mix.

Jacqui is an absolutely lovely dog. She is sweet and affectionate and a loyal companion. She came to us (United Animal Friends) in June looking for her new home.  She is great with all humans (including the small variety!) and is fully housebroken.

Unfortunately, Jacqui developed Immune Mediated Polyarthritis (IMPA), an auto-immune disorder causing painful swollen joints. Since June she has been going through medical treatment and is doing slightly better. She is still being treated and we do not know for how long she will need treatment. The vet does not know if this disease will correct itself or continue for her entire life.

 

Jacqui is looking for that special person to call her own and give her the love and caring that she needs. Jacqui will need a home without others pets and a secure fenced yard.  She is available for adoption within approximately 300 miles of her rescue and, depending on where her adopter is, her rescue may assist with transport.  For more information, please email: doxiemama4@gmail.com.
