Magoo - Grand Rapids, MI ADOPTED!!!  1/7/21

Meet Magoo!  He is a 6 yr old, 43 lb, neutered male Stafforshire Terrier.

Magoo came into our rescue ( Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue) from Detroit Animal Control. He was a stray who was very shut down and terrified. An exam revealed the he was blind from probable SARDS (Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome) and also heart worm positive. After coming to foster it took him a week to feel confident enough to leave his crate and yet another week to wag his tail and seek company out.

 

With love and patience, now he is a very happy boy, constantly wagging his tail and playing with toys!  He is the dog he's meant to be and it's the most heartwarming thing ever!  He loves to seek out cuddles and be by humans. He takes comfort in other dog friends and has gained confidence walking with them. He has NEVERhad an accident in the house and loves to run around outside and play. With patience and love he is a very special dog and deserves a forever home that appreciates him so very much.  He is great with other dogs and is proven fine with cats as well!
